By using KiaSchool.sg ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

What this Service is

KiaSchool.sg is a research tool that aggregates publicly available data on Singapore primary schools — Ministry of Education (MOE) competitive ratios, school directory information, URA Master Plan land-use polygons, OneMap geocoding, and HDB/URA property transaction data — and presents it in a way that helps parents plan Phase 2B and 2C registration.

Important: data accuracy and decision-making

We work hard to keep the data accurate, but the Service is provided "as is" for informational purposes only. Specifically:

• School data (admission rules, Parent Volunteer pathways, religious sponsor details, ballot history, distance bands) can change. Always verify with the school directly before making decisions about P1 registration.
• Distance calculations use URA Master Plan land-use polygons and PostGIS geodesic math. These are very close to MOE's "School Land Boundary" rules but are not officially endorsed by MOE. The official source for the 1km/2km distance check is OneMap School Query.
• AI-generated summaries may contain errors. Treat them as a starting point for your research, not as authoritative advice.
• Property data reflects past transactions, not current listings. We do not list properties for sale.

We are not responsible for any decisions you make based on information shown on the Service, including but not limited to school selection, property purchases, or P1 registration outcomes.

Your responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate information when creating an account or filling in your profile.
• Not attempt to scrape, copy, or republish our content for commercial use without permission.
• Not attempt to disrupt the Service, exploit security vulnerabilities, or use the Service to harass others.
• Not impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any school, organisation, or sponsor.

Account and content

If you create an account, you're responsible for keeping your login credentials safe. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms. You can delete your account at any time (see our Privacy Policy).

Intellectual property

The aggregated data presentation, app code, design, and editorial content (including AI prompt templates and any guides or commentary) belong to KiaSchool.sg. The underlying source data — MOE competitive ratios, URA polygons, HDB transactions, etc. — is licensed under the Singapore Open Data Licence and remains the property of its respective publishers.

Any feedback or suggestions you send us may be used to improve the Service without obligation to credit or compensate you.

Third-party links

The Service may link out to third-party sites (school websites, OneMap, Government press releases, religious sponsor pages). We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content or policies.

Changes to the Service

We may modify, add, or remove features at any time. The Service is offered free of charge and we make no commitment of long-term availability.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Singapore law, KiaSchool.sg and its operators are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the Service — including but not limited to lost time, missed registration deadlines, or property purchase decisions.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Singapore.

Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms occasionally. Material changes will be highlighted on the home page for at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after that constitutes acceptance.
